The website is a great idea. If there is anything I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to ask. Barry Rider
It is lovely to see the development of this site. I was a member of the Senior team around 1967 along with Eric Allinson, with whom I am still in contact, and Dick Raymond who was playing at left back. Eric went on to have a long career in senior football with Dulwich Hamlet, Bromley and Hendon. Before joining the Club, I had played for Heathcote Youth Club alongside other junior Rangers including Jimmy Neighbour, who went on to play for Spurs, and Steve Kirby who later played for Clapton and also managed Ridgeway Rovers which had a young lad called David Beckham. Dave Hammond
What a lovely surprise after all these years. Peter Perryman
Fantastic website. I’m a hoarder so I have lots of memorabilia to share if it might be helpful. Eric Allinson
Great site. Many names I recognise from the past who were playing playing for Rangers’ teams before I joined in 1972. Garry Meader
I was a member of the Rangers’ senior team around 1969 and 1970. I recall the club tours of Belgium and in particular the billboards with the description ‘top London amateurs’ on them. That game was preceded by a the brass band march to the stadium and cold water to wash with after the game. Good memories and a great and fitting site for a great institution. Jimmy Martin
Excellent site! It helped me with the Essex County F.A. site with regard to the 1967-68 Andrews Cup. Phil Sammons (ECFA)
I have recently seen the Rangers’ website. I was surprised at just how many of the Club’s players went on to have professional careers, many of whom I played against. It brought back fond memories. Good luck with the site and I hope you continue to have lots of ‘hits’. Brendon Batson
Well… Well… Well! The Rangers are now online. Fantastic! After I stumbled across the website I spent three hours on an immediate tour of great memories. Although he remains modestly unaccredited on the site, only Dick Raymond can be sitting on this much information. I have some photos and memorabilia I can pass on, if you let me know. How about a Walthamstow Rangers reunion. Colin Arnott
I have just come across this site and have been looking at it with my son. It brings back so many amazing and fond memories of both my dad Jim Butler and myself playing for this wonderful club which was a great part of my childhood and it is so nice to look back at all those memories. My best wishes to all who I got to meet and play with, and special wishes to Bobby Wiles. Lee Butler
Wonderful website, well done. I`m in the photo of U’12`s team in 1963/4… as with both Rangers teams at the time, all the players were at the George Monoux School. Our side managed by Colin Arnott and Del Finch. I’m also in team that won the Andrews Cup (which was Essex County FA U’16 competition). I shall be seeing Graham Arnott again soon after about a 40 year gap and am sure we will talk about Rangers. Ian Jackson
